Due to the changing dynamics of the 21st century, Ferntree Gully Holden is searching for an Internet Administrator. This is a very dynamic and fun role, as you will play an integral part of assisting Barloworld move forward with new age technology.
The right candidate will be qualified and experienced with internet and multimedia technologies. He/she will be highly passionate about current and new internet technologies, administration, and sites such as MySpace, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter etc… He/she will also be experienced with utilising current multimedia technologies such as still photography, cinematography and editing software. A passion for the automotive industry would also be highly regarded as the right candidate will be working with new and used vehicles.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain internet and intranet web content; including Carsales, MySpace, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter etc.
- Advise on the technical development and maintenance of internet and intranet content and WebPages, based on a thorough understanding of user requirements.
- Monitor, track and report on client feedback and website traffic statistics.
- Manage website administration to ensure compliance with the website publishing standards and provide helpdesk support for publishing to the internet and intranet.
- Update internet automotive advertisement site with statistical information, still photography and cinematography.
- Work with sales department and lead generation team to advise on possible sales or business interests.
- Advise when required on new technologies not yet utilised that could add competitive advantage to Barloworld.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Multimedia Technology, Internet Communications or Computer Systems.
- 1-2 years experience in Internet Administration.
- 1-2 years experience in the Multimedia industry.
- Creative flare and keen passion in new generation internet sites such as MySpace, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter etc.
- Experience in web development coding.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Team player.
- Basic task / project management experience.
- Basic understanding of the automotive industry would be highly regarded.
